Does the interface work with my car?
The interface is a universal device and works with all vehicle models with a standard OBD2 connector. Approximate dates of OBD2 deployment worldwide: US and Asia: since 1996, Europe and others: from 2000 petrol cars, from 2004 diesel cars.
Where is the OBD2 connector?
It is often located under the steering wheel or in the middle of the dashboard.
How to connect to the interface?
Install an application on your Android, iOS, or laptop that uses the ELM327 protocol, or download the app from the Google Play Store or Appstore, and then connect the interface to the OBD II port. Turn on Bluetooth on your phone, search for a V-link device in the list, connect to it, and enter the code 1234. Then open the application / program and connect to the interface.
Additional features:
Automatic shut-off after 30 minutes (switches off automatically when the engine is stopped)
AutoWakeUp function (starts when the engine starts)
Leaving the device in the OBD2 slot will not drain the car battery.
